Bridges Out of Poverty
October 11, 6:00-9:00pm
October 12, 9:00am-12noon
This 2-day workshop provides social service professionals and community members with key lessons in connecting with individuals living in poverty. Topics include increasing awareness of the differences in economic cultures and how those
differences affect opportunities for success.
For those who volunteer with Family Promise, this workshop is especially helpful, giving us information and insight to better understand the issues surrounding poverty as we host our neighbors and continue to work to help those in our community.
This event is open to the public.
Cost: $20 (includes meals and materials), payable to Harvard Ave CC (before and day of event).
