Jacob George

Rev. Dr. Jacob George joined the Harvard Avenue staff in 2026. He brings more than two decades of dedicated pastoral care ministry to Harvard Avenue. Jacob holds a Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Care and Counseling from Brite Divinity School and a Master of Theology from Calvin Theological Seminary. He is a Board Certified Chaplain, an ordained minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), and a nationally recognized educator in Clinical Pastoral Education. As Congregational Care Director, Jacob helps cultivate a culture of meaningful care and connection at Harvard Avenue, coordinating care teams, supporting Elders in visitation ministry, and walking with individuals and families through seasons of need with compassion and presence.
